It's been awhile since I posted so here's a random page of my sketchbook to chew on. Those frogs have been on my mind for awhile and I'm working them into some baby and birthday artwork today.
I spent a few days this week putting together packages of illustration samples for publishers that I had somehow overlooked. It's been awhile since I've done this and I nearly forgot how much work (and printer supplies) this takes. Oh, and fortitude. I'm pretty much asking for a second rejection from a 'very well known children's magazine group' because I never sent them any gouache work in the first submission a few months back. I understand that my style isn't going to work for everyone but I've wanted to be published by these magazines for many years now and I have nothing to lose by resubmitting, and hopefully something great to gain.
