Something blooming

My husband and I have been growing plants - mostly succulants and cacti, since we met 10 years ago. Most of them have survived - and thrived. I enjoy thinking about when we first got certain plants and how small they used to be. I don't remember exactly how old this mini-Jade plant is, but for the first time this year it produced flowers. We have at least 3 Jade plants, and this is the first to bloom. The flowers are really small, but have lasted for a few weeks now. Such a contrast to the snowfield just beyond the window. I'm taking this as a good omen for our baby-to-be, who we expect in just a few weeks! Tomorrow, nursery and belly pics!
Oh, and I can't take any credit for how lovely this picture is - my husband has been the house photographer since we got a new camera last month.
